BFA, MAT - Art Teacher
Alex’s dream job was to become a teacher. When she first started college, she studied Psychology and quickly realized it wasn’t for her. Having a love for art her passion for the arts grew when she changed her major. She received her B.F.A. in Film and Media Arts and her M.A.T. (Masters of Arts in Teaching) from the University of Utah. While pursuing her degrees, she had once in a lifetime opportunities to do two internships at Walt Disney World and study abroad in Grenoble, France. Alex brings a host of experience and perspective to the arts from her various positions in teaching, swimming instructor, and camp counselor. “I never want to stop learning. As much as I want to teach my students, I want to learn from them as well.” In her spare time, Alex enjoys watching scary movies, and spending time with her family, her husband, and her two cats and dogs.
