MA - Special Education Teacher
Cari realized her true passion in life was working with adults and children with special needs and circumstances, while volunteering with a youth group for the Special Olympics. This lead her to receive her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and continue with her master’s degree in special education. Cari has worked in both the public school and charter school setting and has continued to volunteer throughout her career as a parent advocate, and student mentor for adults and children with disabilities.
“We all have the potential to become amazing; we just need someone help us believe in ourselves and to cheer us on.”
When not with her family, she can be found caring for her flower gardens or bringing a piece of old furniture back to life.
