Jerrica received her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design in 2011, and soon after graduation, recognized that she desired a career that involved working with people rather than for people. In 2016, Jerrica’s pursuit of wilderness therapy landed her in Utah where she began her mental health career. She fell in love with the therapeutic process of growth and self-discovery through vulnerability and discomfort in the wilderness. After almost 3 years in the field as a Senior Field Instructor, Jerrica pursued her graduate degree to continue her work in the treatment field. Jerrica has continued to lead adventure based therapeutic trips and work as a clinical assistant for Evoke Therapy Intensives and Pursuits Programs, working with individuals, couples, adolescents and families as they work to gain clarity, heal and develop identity. Jerrica is passionate about seeing beyond the presenting concerns to target underlying issues and supporting clients in cultivating a healthier relationship with self. She also believes in utilizing the healing powers of the outdoors, creative expression, mind-body connection and mindfulness to support whole health.
“I truly enjoy being able to learn and grow with each of my clients as they uncover their true selves and discover their insight and power.”
Jerrica grew up in “the pretty part” of northern NJ where she developed her love of the outdoors, snowboarding, and motorcycle riding. When she’s not in the mountains or traveling you can find her at home on the Wasatch front, gardening, crafting something with her hands or playing fetch with her fur baby Rogue.
