Kam gained his education at the University of Utah earning a Bachelor’s in History with a focus on American History. After attending the University of Utah Kam earned his Juris Doctorate at Mississippi College School of Law. He used his law degree for several years in the business arena, which gave him great experience, but he felt the pull to engage in more meaningful work and pursued teaching.
Kam’s teaching experience has always been in residential treatment centers. “I wanted an opportunity to be helpful and have the potential to have a lasting impact. Life is a continual learning process so choose wisely.”
Kam lived in multiple states during his life including Illinois, Tennessee, New York, Mississippi, Oregon and Washington. This gave him the opportunity to experience the varying outdoor activities and historical places in many of these states and others. Kam enjoys spending time with his family and dog and the many varying aspects of automobiles (Classic and Modified Cars), working on various home projects, reading, and getting outdoors to explore/hike, kayak and mountain bike.
