CMHC - Therapist
Lexi has worked in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient, residential, and inpatient. She has worked with adolescents who have a history of trauma/loss, abuse and/or attachment issues.
“I feel my role is to help adolescent girls learn how to create a sense of personal and emotional safety, so that they can move through their pain, embrace vulnerability, and heal. The process of connecting to their emotional pain and being vulnerable results in a feeling of connection, resilience, empowerment, and strong sense of self.”
Lexi completed her undergraduate work at University of Utah, and earned her master’s degree of counseling at University of Phoenix. She is trained in EMDR therapy and utilizes sensory based interventions to address trauma. Lexi enjoys taking advantage of the outdoor recreational opportunities that exist nearby, including the national parks.
