Special Education Teacher
Anna Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Utah, complemented by a TESOL certification and professional ELA endorsement. Her dynamic 24-year teaching career spans both English and history across multiple grade levels. A passionate lifelong learner, she knows Spanish and is currently continuing her education and professional development at Southern Utah University, taking classes in special education.
To her students, Anna Marie offers this guiding philosophy: “Love fiercely, live passionately, and find that fire within.”
When not in the classroom, Anna Marie immerses herself in various needle arts—knitting, needlepoint, cross-stitch, embroidery (both hand and machine), and sewing. She also enjoys bowling and playing Dungeons & Dragons with her family. Yet nothing brings her greater joy than gathering with her five children, savoring their conversations and laughter during precious moments together.
