LCSW - Therapist
Kristen earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Utah and a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. Throughout her career, Kristen has worked with both adolescents and adults in wilderness and residential program settings. She has extensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity training and while in graduate school, designed research to study the effectiveness of DEI staff training in therapeutic programs.
Kristen loves her work with adolescents and their families, and the opportunity to support better understanding of their interpersonal relationships. “Feeling misunderstood is possibly the loneliest state of being as an adolescent. The therapeutic setting at Eva Carlston affords families and their teens the time and space to build common ground.”
During her free time, Kristen enjoys almost all outdoor activities, especially when joined by family and friends, gardening, and any non-fiction format that portrays extraordinary examples of the human spirit.
