McKenzie has over 12 years of residential experience! She received her Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Utah and Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University with an Area of Emphasis in Violence, Abuse and Trauma. McKenzie has been passionate about working with children and adolescents, striving to help our future generations become the best version of themselves.

McKenzie’s experience includes working with the developmentally disabled population, individuals in crisis, and troubled adolescents. McKenzie utilizes different therapeutic modalities such as group therapy, music therapy, art therapy including evidence based practices such as Trauma Informed Therapy, Solution Focused Interventions Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
In McKenzie’s personal time, she is a mother who enjoys anything outdoors with her family including hiking, camping, snowshoeing and skiing. She loves traveling and exploring what the world has to offer.
